Halestorm’s new tour dates include show in Lancaster

Halestorm, the rock band formed in Red Lion, has announced a new series of tour dates, including a show in Lancaster, Pa.

The band will play Freedom Hall at the Lancaster County Convention Center at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 — yep, the night before Thanksgiving.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and are available through Ticketmaster for $31.60, fees included.

According to the band’s Facebook page, pre-sales began today for fan club members for that concert date and 11 others, as follows:

Nov. 11: Chattanooga, TN – Track 29
Nov. 12: Knoxville, TN – The International
Nov. 14: St. Petersburg, FL – Mahaffey Theater
Nov. 15: Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Revolution
Nov. 16: Lake Buena Vista, FL – House of Blues Orlando
Nov. 18: Louisville, KY – Mercury Ballroom
Nov. 24: Buffalo, NY – Town Ballroom
Nov. 25: Westbury, NY – The Space at Westbury
Nov. 28: Sayreville, NJ – Starland Ballroom
Nov. 29: Worcester, MA – The Palladium
Dec. 1: Cincinnati, OH – Bogart’s
Dec. 8: Memphis, TN – Minglewood Hall
Dec. 9: Baton Rouge, LA – Varsity Theatre

Halestorm previously announced a series of dates opening for Eric Church, the country singer who blistered the CMT Music Awards stage with Lzzy Hale’s help on a version of “That’s Damn Rock and Roll” earlier this year.

The band will also be playing at the Clearfield County Fair on Aug. 1 and at the Shindig Festival in Baltimore, Md., on Sept. 27. Head here for more information on that show, which will also feature Jane’s Addiction and Rise Against.

Meanwhile, Lzzy Hale was back on national TV this morning, performing “Shatter Me” with electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling. Their collaboration was sitting at number four on iTunes electronic singles chart this morning.

The song comes from Stirling’s new album of the same name. Check it out and you’ll also find a track featuring Dia Frampton, from Season 1 of The Voice. Stirling is a former “America’s Got Talent” contestant.
