So, season seven Idol winner David Cook posted a teaser video for his new album today.
You get to watch David work in the studio. You get to hear snippets of two new songs.
But the video is lacking the one detail I’m sure everyone is waiting for: Just when will that new album be released?
“Early 2011” is what David said back in September.
Well, heck, that could mean anywhere from January to April, right?
Oh, well, it’s something to look forward to. In 2010, we got new music from only one former Idol winner (Fantasia).
This year, we should be able to look forward to album releases from at least two: David and Kelly Clarkson, the original Idol.
Meanwhile, David, who just turned 28, is participating in the Race for Hope again this year. The race takes place May 1 in Washington, D.C.
With the help of fans and supporters, the David Cook team was the top fundraising group last year, contributing more than $152,000 toward the fight against cancer.
