Brennley Brown from The Voice Season 12

Brennley Brown from The Voice Season 12

* Brennley Brown from Season 12 released “50 Stars,” just in time for Veterans Day. She wrote the song as a tribute to her dad’s dad, Gregory Brown, and for everyone serving in the military. Brown served two tours of duty in Vietnam, but died after returning home, so Brennley never met him. Writes Brennley: “Through the process of writing this song, and wanting to share his life and legacy with others, I realized the remarkable similarities between him and I. I found it mind blowing that my life could be so incredibly impacted by someone I had never even met, except through the detailed pictures and stories that were shared with me.” The song is Brennley’s third single of 2021.

Savanna Chestnut of The Voice Season x

Savanna Chestnut of The Voice Season 20

* Savanna Chestnut from Season 20 kicked off November with the release of “My First Rodeo.” It’s a song she debuted on social media in mid-September to rave reviews from fans. Savanna and The Field Hands also recently opened for the Eli Young Band for the second time. “My First Rodeo” follows “Hold Me Now” as Savanna’s second single since The Voice.

Cody Belew of The Voice Season 3

Cody Belew of The Voice Season 3

* Cody Belew from Season 3 released a three-song country EP called “East Side Covers” on Friday. It includes Cody’s version of Kacey Musgraves’ “Easier Said,” plus “Boomerang” and “Bad Habits.” Cody also released a performance video for “Easier Said.” The release is the first for Cody since he dropped a Christmas single last November.
