New post-Voice releases include pop singles from Genesis Diaz, Brian Nhira and Raquel Castro.
Here’s a bit more about each of those releases.
The links take you to the songs on Apple Music.
* Genesis Diaz from Season 14 released “Champagne” on Friday, and it’s party time in this Spanish-language release. That’s especially true of the accompanying music video. The song marks the debut single for Genesis, who was eliminated in the battle round on Season 14. But then she auditioned for La Voz, the U.S. Spanish-language version of the show in 2019 and made it all the way to the semifinals. Genesis also recently graced the cover of the Spanish-language “Oops” magazine.
* Brian Nhira from Season 10 has released “Love You Right,” a song he wrote with FREEWILL. Brian says the song is about “establishing a love that transcends what you do in life and is more about how you treat somebody — loving them well and treating them well. Cause it’s easy to want things like fame, money, status, other things in life. But what’s more important, in my opinion, is the way that you treat the one that you love.” There’ also a music video.
* Raquel Castro from Season 1 released “Serendipitous Maybe,” a collaboration with The Wildcardz. “It’s such a beautiful feeling creating music that just feels good and comes so effortlessly. Truly freeing. Working with @thewildcardz on this was a perfect collaboration. It’s the moments when you find those rare and special people in this industry that just get ya, that makes it all worth while.” Since The voice, Raquel has appeared on the hit TV series “Empire” and penned a winning song on NBC’s “Songland.”
