Phil Stacey fans will have a chance to see him in concert when A New Hallelujah World Tour visits Reading on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Phil will be performing at the Sovereign Performing Arts Center along with fellow Christian music artists Michael W. Smith, Meredith Andrews, and Matt Maher.

Tickets for the show will run from $30 to $50. Go here for more information.

Of course, Phil’s second post-Idol album hits stores Tuesday. A top-six contestant on season six, Phil released a self-titled country album in April 2008. The lead single hit number 28 on Billboard’s country singles chart.

This time around, we’ll get Christian music with a modern pop sound, according to Reunion Records, Phil’s label. The 11-track CD is titled “Into the Light.”
Singing Christian music comes naturally for Phil. Both of his grandfathers were pastors; so was his father.

“They weren’t religious people, they were relationship people,” Phil says in a press release issued by the label. “They had a great relationship with Jesus. I saw that and I wanted that in my life. I got saved when I was very young.”

“You’re Not Shaken,” the first single from the new album, is number 17 on Billboard’s Christian songs chart, its peak position so far, nine weeks after its release.

You can listen to that song and two more off Phil’s new album here.
