Team Pharrell Williams was left without a singer on Season 7 of The Voice when DaNica Shirey and Luke Wade failed to survive Top 8 results night.
But two of his singers — DaNica Shirey and Sugar Joans — turned in the best performances during Tuesday night’s wild card round.
Sugar sang “Back to Black” in what Gwen Stefani described as a perfectly beautiful cover of the song. DaNica got wild applause for her cover of the power ballad “Without You.”
Voting for the wild card spot in next week’s Season 7 finale continues through 3 a.m. EST; Carson Daly will announce the winner Wednesday morning on Today.
