If you expected Nutsa to be “devastated” by her elimination from American Idol Sunday night, think again.
By the end of the evening, the 26-year-old from Georgia had posted an impassioned thank you to fans and American Idol.
More than anything, she was assuring those fans that she plans to continue her dream of pursuing a music career in the U.S.
Here’s her message:
“WOW what a journey!😦🚀I made my childhood dream come true! 🥹♥️Guys, think I’m devastated with the results? Absolutely not! And quite frankly, I expected it 😉
“This is the very first step of me trying my chances as a singer in the United States 🇺🇸 And this is only the beginning … honestly speaking when I look back at my journey I get very emotional and it makes me feel like a winner already.
“I am so humbled and thankful to the American Idol family for having me, the only international contestant, on the show! Words cannot describe how thankful I am to my fans in Georgia and now in the United States as well — guys your support means everything! Million thanks to the Georgian immigrants from all over the world! You are the coolest people out there.
“Today, I’m filled with love and joy! But I am also full of energy, motivation, strength and determination to take next steps in my career! Two thing that I promise you is: You will hear NUTSA a lot of times in future; second I stay in Hollywood and not going anywhere.
“Let’s keep on rocking!”
Nutsa rocked out Sunday night with a dramatic version of Queen’s “The Show Must Go On.” In spite of her elimination, I thought it was one of the best performances of the evening.
And her performance of “Paris (Ooh La La)” in the Top 26 round (check it out below if you forget) remains one of my favorite from any contestant during Season 21.
She arrived at her American Idol audition with singing show experience, and that experience certainly showed during her run on the show.
Don’t forget, this determined young woman already has music out, including a single called “Alive” that she just dropped in March.
Head here to check out that song and more of Nutsa’s original music. “Alive” is the latest of four singles she’s released in English.

Not the only international contestant…those from Canada are not forgotten
An agent should immediately sign Nutsa and have her singing in nightclubs and as an opening act for other artists
