Overnight voting will return to American Idol Sunday night as fans select a Season 16 winner.

That’s just one of the details, ABC revealed late Friday afternoon about Sunday’s show.

The show also released the list of songs that will be performed that evening.

They include an original song (those were released to iTunes and other digital sites Friday morning), a hometown dedication and a repeat performance, as follows.

Caleb Lee Hutchinson
Hometown: “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash
Repeat: “Don’t Close Your Eyes” by Keith Whitley
Winner’s Single: “Johnny Cash Heart”

Gabby Barrett
Hometown: “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey
Repeat: “Little Red Wagon” by Miranda Lambert
Winner’s Single: “Rivers Deep”

Maddie Poppe
Hometown: “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac
Repeat: “Don’t Ever Let Your Children Grow Up” (Original)
Winner’s Single: “Going Going Gone”

In addition, the trio of Jonny Brenns, Catie Turner and Harper Grace will take the stage to perform a medley of originals — “Blue Jeans,” “21st Century Machine” and “Yard Sale,” respectively.

As for the voting, it will begin when the performance finale starts at 8 p.m. Sunday and run through 9 a.m. eastern time Monday.

That should give everyone from everywhere ample time to vote for who they thinks should win Season 16.
