RaeLynn from The Voice Season 2

RaeLynn dropped a new song Friday, the autobiographical “Me About Me.”

And she has more on the way.

Her new EP “Baytown” will be out Aug. 14 and include six songs, including her previous two singles, “Bra Off” and “Keep Up.”

RaeLynn, now 26, was born in Baytown, Texas. She posted a list of all the reasons she chose “Baytown” as the name of her new EP on social media.

After all, it’s the town where she found Jesus, learned how to sing and fell in love with country music.

“This city is imprinted into my heart and has given me so much inspiration for my sound and who I am today,” she writes. “If you know me, you know I love where I’m from.”

“Baytown” is available for pre-order. And there’s a video for “Me About Me,” filmed entirely on an iPhone by Delaney Royer.

RaeLynn was a standout on Season 2 of The Voice and released her last major project, the excellent album “Wild Horses,” in 2017.
