Judges, Season 12

Ryan Seacrest reveals Idol judge most likely to cry

0

By now, you’ve certainly heard the rumors of feuding judges on American Idol and how Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey don’t get along.

Don’t below a word you read or hear, say Ryan Seacrest and Nigel Lythgoe.

Ryan addressed the issue on Today this morning, saying the new ladies on the Idol judging panel are “two very different, strong, powerful successful women on the panel. There are not too many dull moments between the two of them. But at the end of the day, we all hug and laugh and go home and get ready for another day.”

Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe also addressed the issue in a tweet, saying: “Rumor has it we have a ‘cat-fight’ on #AmericanIdol WRONG! 2 Forces of Nature have “collided” in a good way. Smart, witty and intelligent.”

All that said, Ryan was also asked on Today which judge is most likely to cry at some point during the course of Season 12.

“It may be Keith (Urban), who has to sit between Nicki and Mariah. He may be the one,” Ryan said.
