Look no further than Sawyer Fredericks, the 15-year-old from Fultonville, N.Y.

During the blind audition round, Sawyer scored the biggest hit on iTunes, cracking the Top 40 with his cover of “Man of Constant Sorrow.”

Tuesday night, Sawyer appeared on the show a second time, for a fine battle round performance with Noelle Bybee.

They sang “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” and Pharrell declared Sawyer the winner, though Noelle certainly did a fine job as well.

Twenty-four hours later, Sawyer had another iTunes hit on his hands. Their cover of “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” was sitting at number 13 on the iTunes Top 200 as of 8 p.m. Wednesday.

In fact, only two other songs from the show were in the Top 200. The battle round performance of “Stay” by India Carney and Clinton Washington was sitting at number 76.

And at number 119?

Sawyer’s audition song, of course.

During a conference call with the media Wednesday, Sawyer said the battle round represented a challenge because he wasn’t used to harmonizing or arranging a song to help suit another singer.

But he drew high praise from The Voice coaches.

Adam Levine says his talent “boggles the mind.”

His own coach’s reaction?

“To be as good as you are and have zero ego says a lot,” said Pharrell.

We’ll see Sawyer next in The Voice knockout round.
