Barry Manilow is the headliner for this year’s A Capitol Fourth concert in D.C.
But American Idol will be well represented.
Among the performers at the Thursday night concert and fireworks show are Season 10 winner Scotty McCreey and new Idol champ Candice Glover.
Candice, of course, is also prepping for the Idol summer tour which kicks off July 19 and for the release of her debut album, which has also been announced for a July release.
Scotty released a new single, “See You Tonight,” this spring and is working on a sophomore album, to be released sometime this fall.
Other performers at A Capitol Fourth include Darren Criss of “Glee” and Megan Hilty, who co-starred with Katharine McPhee on the NBC show “Smash.”
Tom Bergeron of “Dancing with the Stars” will host.
The concert will be broadcast live by PBS from the West Lawn of the Capitol beginning Thursday at 8 p.m., followed by the fireworks.
