The Voice drew its smallest season premiere audience ever when Season 15 began Monday night.

According to TV by the Numbers, the show drew a 2.0 rating among adults 19-49 and approximately 9.56 million viewers.

Ratings did tick up a bit on the second night of the blind auditions — when The Voice wasn’t going head to head with Monday night football.

The second blind audition episode won the night for NBC, drawing a 2.2 rating and 9.90 million viewers.

If you want to compare premieres, I’ve listed all the numbers below.

While I couldn’t find a rating for the 19-to-49 set for Season 1, this fall marked the first time a Voice premiere drew fewer than 10 million viewers.

Oh, well, 15 seasons in, The Voice is still far more enjoyable than The Four on FOX. I’ve yet to make it through an entire episode of that mess of a singing show.
