* Sundance Head, the Season 11 champ, has dropped “The Moment,” a rollicking lead single to his upcoming album. That album is an 11-song collection called “Starting Over” that will be out Sept. 16 and is available for pre-order now. Sundance’s first post-Voice album, “Stained Glass and Neon,” came out in early 2019. Sundance also recently performed at a Texas for Uvalde benefit concert.

* Taylor Alexander from Season 12 is also planning an album and recently dropped the first single, a song called “Fences.” The album, “Hymns for a Hollow Earth” is set for release on Aug. 19. It’ll also be his second since The Voice, following 2012’s excellent “Good Old Fashioned Pain.”

* Sammie Zonana, from Season 12, has released a song called “Austin.” It’s about how the city isn’t nearly so special without a special someone to share it with. Sammie is a singer-songwriter based in Austin and runs a wedding music business there. “Austin” marks her first release of 2022.
