The Four still has the smallest total audience of any show on a major network on Thursday nights.

But the show can celebrate this: Thursday night marked its best ratings of Season 2 among viewers 19-49.

And The Four’s 0.9 rating among those viewers made it number two in that regard in the Thursday night ratings.

Repeats of The Big Bang Theory continue to carry the night, with 6.05 million viewers compared to The Four’s 2.83.

Ratings among coveted viewers between 19 and 49, however, put Big Bang just slightly in front of The Four.

And the estimated 2.83 million viewers who watched The Four on Thursday night is slightly higher than last week’s previous best of 2.81 million.

Likely helping the show is the fact that viewers have had a chance to create a connection to more of the Season 2 singers.

Remember, in Season 1, every member of the original four was gone within the first two weeks. And the eventual winner, Evvie McKinney, didn’t show up until Week 5 of a six-episode first season.

In Season 2, after six episodes, Sharaya J. is still in the seat she held in the season premiere. James Graham, another original member of The Four, was just eliminated and is likely to be back for next week’s comeback episode.

Another potential finalist, former Voice standout Ali Caldwell, has already performed in three episode and will have appeared in five should she make the finale.
