If you have cabin fever from being shut in by the frequent winter storms, remember that two stars from Season 5 of The Voice will be performing in the area this weekend.
James Wolpert, a Lampeter-Strasburg grad, is having a pair of homecoming concerts at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster.
And Cole Vosbury will be performing as his opening act.
The Saturday night show is sold out and has been since shortly after the show was announced in early January.
By my count, about 300 tickets remain for the Sunday show, set to begin at 7 p.m.
Though competing for different “teams,” James and Cole were roommates on The Voice.
They also wound up being eliminated the same night, after cracking the Top 5.
James, 22, told Lancaster Online that he’ll be performing covers from The Voice, some covers he wish he’d gotten to do and some original material.
“I have had a few songs in my back pocket for a while,” he told the site in a full interview you can read here. “I have a home studio thing going on and I am recording a few songs.”
An EP of those songs will be available at the show.
He and Cole will also perform a few songs together.
Tickets to Sunday’s show are $39 and are available here.
