David Cook, Tony LuccaDavid Cook just announced that a familiar face will join him on tour in 2016.

That would be Tony Lucca, a finalist on Season 2 of The Voice.

“Reality TV stars collide,” wrote Tony on Facebook, where the news was — well, let’s say warmly welcomed.

A sampling …

Leigh Hicks: “David Cook is the Best and to have Tony Lucca opening for him — WIN WIN – can’t wait to see the shows.”

Melissa Burris: “You know, saw you both perform way back when at the Blue dome before either one of you hit reality TV. This is gonna be good…”

Kelly Harding Glaspell: “Just saw David Cook @ RamsHead and I’ve seen and Tony Lucca many times! This is awesome!!!!!”

Tony will be opening for David at his February and March tour dates, and that includes a March 2 stop at Union Transfer in Philly. Tickets for that show range from $20 to $70.

They’ll also perform the March 1 at Jammin’ Java in the D.C. suburbs. Tickets range from $25 to $40.

David will be touring to promote the acclaimed “Digital Vein” album he released in September. Even though it was released independently, the album debuted at number 35 on the Billboard 200.

Tony has been one of the most prolific contestants from The Voice since his appearance on the show. He released two albums in the past year, “Tony Lucca” in January and “Made to Shine” last month.
