After making certain everyone knew Sunday’s episode was pre-taped (filmed in January, actually), American Idol got down to naming its Top 20 Sunday night.
Well, not all of the Top 20. Idol has split its Top 40 showcase round into two shows.
The second was supposed to air Monday night. Instead, if will air next Sunday, buying the show some more time in hopes the corona crisis will pass and show taping can resume.
