Well, it looks like Phillip Phillips and American Idol scored a victory at the 2012 Olympics. Ironically, with a big assist from NBC, home to Idol’s rival, “The Voice.” NBC used “Home,” the song Phillip sang during the Idol finale and his first single, as the theme for the gold-medal winning U.S. gymnastics team.
