Before the inevitable happens this evening, we’ll be treated to a trio of musical performances. And one reminder for voters who might think the Season 3 outcome is a foregone conclusion.
I’ve been singing the praises of The Voice throughout Season 3, primarily because the show has been doing most everything right. Unfortunately, on Monday, it got almost everything wrong.

Carrie Underwood took a pair of honors and Lauren Alaina won one at the American Country Awards, televised on FOX Monday night. The big winner of the night was Luke Bryan, who took honors for Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and won at least five other awards as well.
