The Voice Top 16 will perform for fans’ votes when the live shows begin Monday night.
Three singers will be eliminated this week. Fans will select eight members of the Top 13 via their votes following Monday’s show.
How will it work?
Glad you asked. The Voice isn’t calling this round the live playoffs, but it will work much that same way.
After everyone performs Monday night — and, please folks, regardless of what Carson Daly says, listen to everyone before voting — fans can head to The Voice website or use The Voice app to cast their votes.
The vote limit is 10 per email address you’ve used to sign in. The voting window runs from when Monday’s show starts (again, please listen to everyone sing before voting) until 7 a.m. Tuesday.
On Tuesday night, the top two vote-getters from each team will automatically advance to the Top 13. Then each coach will get to save one of their two remaining artists.
That will leave four at-risk singers. An instant save at the end of the show — yep, blatantly unfair to any West Coast contestant who lands in that position — will determine the 13th spot on next week’s show.
Instant save voting used to be via Twitter. It’s now also done through The Voice website or app.

— Turned 3 chairs in the blinds and joined Team Gwen; defeated Jillian Jordyn in the battles; at risk after losing to Kique in the knockouts, but was stolen by Blake.

“The Voice” has never deviated from what they are. A show for coaches with an opening act of some talented artists. “American Idol” used to give honest feedback to contestants and invested in some of them, but totally jumped the shark after gimmicks and montages took over.
