Did one of your favorites fall short of making the American Idol Top 12?

Will you miss watching them perform when Idol returns Sunday and Monday nights?

There’s no reason to. Just stream their music.

Seven of the eight singers eliminated Monday night already have music out, Mariah Faith being the lone exception.

And three of the eight — Hannah Nicolaisen:, Michael William and Olivia Soli — have released music since Idol Season 21 premiered, something unheard of back in the show’s days on FOX.

Here’s a look at the messages Monday’s eight eliminated singers posted on Instagram, as well as a look at the music each has already released. The links take you to the artist’s music on Spotify.

Hannah Nicolaisen: “THANK YOU! ❤️ I wouldn’t change a single thing!!!! I’m so in love with these people, this whole journey, and with all of you who supported me. Thank you American Idol for leading me down this path, thank you to my family and friends for the courage. I have grown so much, and I am SO excited to watch all my friends continue in this show. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”

Hannah turned to music after her collegiate volleyball career ended and has released a pair of singles — “Intervention” and “Through the Motions” — in the past month.

Kaerya: “Thank you all so much for all the love and support throughout my Idol journey. This was an unforgettable experience that I will never forget. Thank you all again and I cant wait to see what else is in store for me.”

Kaerya’s one of several Idol contestants who had releaeed lots of music prior to auditioning, including a 2021 EP called “11:11.” And she now has three releases on Spotify with more than 500,000 streams.

Mariah Faith: “Well! It was an awesome run! Truth be told, I’ve always had to fight 10x harder than the normal person. Before I was the girl with the dreads I was the weird girl who colored her hair, before that I was also the girl with dreads, before that I was the girl with the mixed mom, before that I was the new girl who had no friends in a new town, before that I was the chubby girl who lived in the trailer…. And now I can be the girl who was TOP 20 on AMERICAN IDOL💪🏼I beat every odd thrown my way and I couldn’t be more proud of myself! This is far from over! Thank you for showing me that I AM ENOUGH! And no one can ever take that away from me 💜🙏🏼 thank you @americanidol.”

Mariah hasn’t released music. But I, for one, am eager to hear it when she does.

Matt Wilson: “Glad I was able to end with the song I auditioned with! A full-circle moment for me 🤎✊🏾! Excited for this next part of my journey now!!” He also posted a video of the warm welcome he received upon his return home.

As Matthew Wilson, he has four songs out already. The most recent, “I Can’t Wait,” dropped in the summer of 2021. The music video for the song was shot on his wedding day.

Michael Williams: “Thank you for having me @americanidol ! I love you all and I will see you soon! Goodnight.”

Michael had released a couple of pre-show songs as Michael T.C. Williams. And he’s released four singles minus the T.C. this year, including three that dropped after the Idol Season 21 premiere. Those are “Overthinking,” “Already Yours” and “If We Got Us.” A song called “Honey” — his first 2023 release — is his most popular of the four on Spotify so far.

Paige Anne: “New flex — i’ve been eliminated not ONCE but TWICE on @americanidol 🫡 all jokes aside I LOVE YOU ALL and this is just the beginning.
In a separate post, she adds: “I Am Here by @pink described my journey perfectly. @americanidol thank you again for the opportunity of a lifetime.”

In spite of her young age, Paige Anne has already released a good deal of music, including an EP dubbed “The First Paige” that dropped last September.

Olivia Soli: “Thank you guys so so so much for all the love and support y’all have given me on my @americanidol journey 🤍🫶🏼 this experience and memories will never be forgotten. I’ve grown in so many ways on this show and I’m so excited to show y’all what is in my next chapter!! so much loveeeee.”

Olivia had released one single before The Voice and has dropped two more since Season 21 began — “Tulum” and “You Made Me Hate Me.”

Nailyah Serenity: “Oh my goodness!! If you haven’t heard, I did not make it to the Top 12 of American Idol. I am so grateful for this opportunity.. Thank you for all the support!!!!”

Nailyah released her debut single, “Loathe Love,” last year and encourages fans to check out her website, astrologerofthesouth.com to keep up with what’s coming next.
