Elleigh Marie is among the singers we’ll meet on American Idol Sunday night.

The Idol judging trio of Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie are back for Season 22.

Sunday will mark the fourth of five audition episodes introducing us to some of the top contestants.

Here’s more about Elleigh:

* She’s Elliegh Marie Francom, a 20-year-old from American Fork, Utah, and has been pursuing a career in cosmetology.

* From Las Vegas, Nev., she grew up in a musical family. Her mother was heavily involved in musical theater.

* “So as soon as I could walk, I was in dance classes, singing lessons,” Elleigh told ABC4 in Utah in a recent interview.

* She wound up following in her mother’s footsteps, becoming heavily involved in musical theater at Biloxi High School in Biloxi, Miss.

* As part of the Tribe Theatre there, she was involved in a number of productions, including “Mamma Mia” and “Shrek the Musical.”

* She was also involved with Triple Threat Academy in Biloxi, landing the lead role of Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde Jr.”

* She was also a cheerleader and a soloist with Biloxi High School’s Sound Surge show choir.

* Elleigh told ABC4 in Utah she now prefers performing pop music, though she auditioned for Idol with a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me.”

* She also said she was invited to audition for Idol by a casting agent who discovered her online videos.

* That could very well have been on TikTok where Elleigh’s developed quite a following — more than 250,00 followers and 10 million likes – with a combination of singing and dance videos.
