Having posed as a 15-year-old to gain access to the apparently top-secret list of Teen Choice Award nominations, I can now tell you that Idol got several nominations.

And The Voice got a couple of  nominations as well.

In fact, both were nominated in the Favorite Reality Competition category, along with Wipeout, So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Best Dance Crew.

What? No one nominated Randy Jackson? I’m shocked.

I’m legitimately more shocked that Blake Shelton, the most entertaining judge on The Voice, wasn’t nominated.

Oophs, I forgot. These are the Teen Choice Awards.

We’ll find out who wins when the awards show is broadcast at 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, on FOX.

Here are the other Idol and Voice nominees …

  • Female Country Artist: Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler are nominated alongside Miranda Lambert, Jenette McCurdy and Taylor Swift.
  • Breakout Artists: Idol winner Scotty McCreery and Voice winner Javier Colon are nominated alongside Adele, Bruno Mars and Wiz Khalifia.
  • Red Carpet Fashion Icon: Jennifer Lopez is nominated. So is Lady Gaga.
  • Breakout Show: The Voice is nominated alongside Hard Times of RJ Berger, Raising Hope, The Walking Dead and Nine Lives of Chloe King.
