Iam Tongi has a new single out and a track on the new Lilo and Stitch movie.

American Idol is heading back to the Disneyland Resort for the next two episodes.

So it’s only natural that they include a guest appearance from Season 21 champ Iam Tongi.

Iam will perform on Monday’s show, singing “Roller Coaster Ride,” his track on the soundtrack from Disney’s new Lilo and Stitch film.

He also recently released his first single of 2025 — “Sunshine” — and an accompanying music video.

“Even though I just turned 20, I’ve had to face some pretty difficult times in my life,” Iam writes on Instagram. “When I lost my dad a few years ago, it made me realize how short life really is. But it also made me realize what really matters.

“My mom is my biggest hero and inspiration, and she has always pushed me to be kind, work hard, and be a better version of myself, no matter what.

“I wrote ‘Sunshine’ because I wanted to use this platform I’ve been given to spread love, light and positivity to the world. Even when times are tough, you can find goodness around you.”

The music video features Iam riding around a California beach on a motorcycle. Yes, he almost “wiped out,” Iam admitted. He also called it the most fun he’s had making a music video.

In other news, Iam is set to make his Grand Ole Opry debut on June 11. He calls it a “dream come true,” saying his dad introduced him to country music and he grew up listening to artists like Kenny Rogers.

Fans are still waiting on a debut album from Iam, but he’s released a number of singles and has seven tracks on Spotify with more than 1 million views.

Those include “Monsters,” the song he covered in his celebrated Idol audition with more than 14 million, “I’ll Be Seeing You,” his Idol single with more than 8 million, and a follow-up called “Why Kiki” with more than 7 miliion.
