Aubrey Nicole, a finalist last winter on The Voice, has three upcoming hometown shows planned in the Mason-Dixon area

That will include a pair of performances at the York State Fair in York Pa., and an early August show at the Carroll County 4-H and FFA Fair in Westminster, Md.

The 20-year-old from Littlestown, Pa., also has new music out — a pair of singles released over the past month.

Aubrey — full name Aubrey Nicole Dittmar — only turned one chair when she auditioned for Season 28 of The Voice with her cover of Cam’s “Burning House.”

But that chair belonged to Reba McEntire. And by December of last year, the Delone Catholic grad and Belmont University student was performing on the grand finale of The Voice.

She finished fourth and has been busy launching her country music career with the help of new fans ever since.

Aubrey recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of the filming of her blind audition, writing, “My time on @nbcthevoice was nothing short of a dream come true.

“In between that 1 chair turn to 4th place I grew up more than I could’ve imagined, not only into my artistry, but also myself! Which is pretty easy when your mentor is the queen of country herself!”

Since the show, she’s also released her first music, including a debut single called “One Lane,” an ode to the Mason-Dixon area where she grew up.

Her second single, the very vocally impressive “Send Me a Sign,” dropped last month. Aubrey calls it “one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written. One that not only shares my faith, but also displays my deep love for the country music, gospel music, and the hymns I grew up with.”

And on July 10, Aubrey and fellow Season 28 Voice contestant Makenzie Phipps released a fun and rowdy duet called “Devil Ain’t in Hell.”

As for those upcoming performances …

* On Saturday, July 25, she’ll be on of seven performers taking part in the Summer of Boots Festival on the York Fair main stage. The event will run from 3:30 p.m. to about 10:30 p.m. The Band Perry and Parmalee are the headliners. Tickets are $44, available here and ticket holders can come and go during the show to enjoy other features of the fair.

* On Saturday, Aug. 1, Aubrey will be the headliner on the Froggy 107.7 Radio Stage at the York State Fair. She’ll perform at 6:30 p.m. with Wyatt Becker of York County, Pa. as her opening act. The show is free with admission to the fair. Admission to the fair is $10 for adults, $5 for kids and $5 for senior citizens. There’s a $10 fee to park on fair grounds.

The Froggy 107.7 Radio Stage presents shows nearly every day of the fair (July 24 to Aug. 2) and represents a great chance to see up-and-coming country artists perform. Aubrey is the only featured artist with a singing-show link this year, but past performers on the stage include Voice champ Danielle Bradberry and American Idol winner Trent Harmon. * On Friday, Aug. 7, Aubrey will be the headliner at a 6 p.m. concert at the Carroll County 4-H and FFA Fair. The show will also feature Billy Harrison and The Haywire Band. Tickets are $25 and available here. Fair admission is free.
