Brooklyn Marie from The Voice Season 30
The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, Sept. 21 with the coaching quartet of Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Queen Latifah and Riley Green.
Here’s more about Brooklyn:
* She’s Brooklyn Marie Ostlund, a very young singer-songwriter from central Minnesota with music out and lots of performance experience.
* On Spotify, she describes her music as “blending heartfelt songwriting with acoustic-driven pop and country influences.”
* She released her first two singles, “Tired” and “i miss u” earlier this year. She also released a music video for the impressive “Tired,” which you can check out below.
* On her website, she says she is one of four children and “that big-family energy is part of why a live show feels like a room full of friends to me.”
* You’ll find a couple of other originals on Brooklyn Marie’s website as well as some covers. And she has a very impressive cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Traitor” on her social media.
* In a get-to-know me post from this spring, she writes “Music is my heart, and who better to inspire me than the queen herself, @taylorswift.” Yep, Taylor is her favorite artist.
* She accompanies herself on guitar and apparently plays other instruments as well.
* Brooklyn writes that she also enjoys spending time with her “adorable bunnies and chickens” and she celebrated on social media this summer when one of the mother chickens had two little chicks, which wound up with the names Sparkles and Diamond.
