Lillie Kolich from The Voice Season 30
The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, Sept. 21 with the coaching quartet of Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Queen Latifah and Riley Green.
Here’s more about Lillie:
* She-s a 26-year-old singer-songwriter from Albuquerque, N.M., who is now based in Nashville and has already released music.
* In fact, Lillie already has two songs with more than 200,000 streams on Spotify alone — “paper cuts” and “I bet,” both from 2025.
* “I Bet” is a duet with Julia Devlin in which two women who have been hurt by the same man unite in heartbreak instead of turning one another into villains.
* Both tracks are featured on Lillie’s six-song debut EP Lorraine, which dropped in March. The title track is the first song she wrote after moving to Nashville and she says the EP “explores love and healing (after heartbreak), resentment toward other women, the forgiveness that follows, and who I’ve become along the way.”
* And Lillie has another song dropping on Sept. 18 called “aftertaste.” “My ex lives in New York and the first time I went back there after we broke up, I drunk cried in an Uber and wrote this chorus,” Lillie explains in one of her social media post.
* She attended the University of Evansville in Indiana, graduating in 2022 with a major in theater performance.
* Musically, she says her inspirations include Gracie Adams, Taylor Swift and Lizzy McAlphine and her goal is to write songs with “deeply specific story-telling” about “universally felt emotions.”
* Performance highlights for Lillie to date include being selected to perform at the release show for Zach Bryan’s “Great American Bar Scene” and returning home to New Mexico for a soldout headline show in 2024.
