The Voice introduced fans to the final seven artists to earn spots on Season 30 during a special Tuesday night episode.

Then the show kicked off the battle round, showing a Team Riley match in which four-chair turn winners Ferryn and Brinkley advanced and Brandy Neelly was eliminated.

During the longer blind audition portion of Tuesday’s show, Lillie Kolich earned the final four-chair turn of Season 30, then opted to join Team Queen Latifah.

Here’s a recap of Tuesday’s show, with Voice Views’ picks for the night’s top performances.

BEST OF THE NIGHT

Lillie Kolich, 25, Albuquerque, New Mexico, “Back to Friends” by sombr: Lillie sounded unique from the opening note and earned very quick chair turns from Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green and Adam Levine. Eventually, Lillie enticed Queen Latifah to turn as well, giving her the final four-chair turn of Season 30. Lovely ending from Lillie too. Riley called her performance “amazing” and promised to have her perform at his bar. Kelly called her tone “rad” and loved the way she made the song her own. Queen Latifah also praised her unique rendition of the song and suggested Lillie could win the show. Lillie joined Team Latifah, completing her team.

RUNNERS-UP

Kavi Nyx, 17, Atlanta, Ga., “Wildflower” by Billie Eilish: Kavi’s ethereal vocals prompted almost immediate chair turns from Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine. Riley Green soon followed, meaning Kavi turned the chairs of every coach who still had an open spot. Kavi showed off impressive range, power and passion. Very tasteful performance for someone so young. Kelly called her voice “so beautiful.” Turns out Kavi is a big fan of Kelly. Adam praised her bold rendition of the song, which incorporated her Indian heritage. Riley loved the personality in her vocal and complimented her on a great performance. Kavi joined Team Kelly.

Brendan Coulter, 27, Toledo, Ohio, “Liar” by Jelly Roll: Brendan showed off great range and a distinct tone from the opening note. Nice upbeat audition song and Brendan did a fine job with it. He was surprisingly deep into the performance before Riley Green turned. Brendan’s performance kept getting stronger. Kelly Clarkson eventually turned as well. Kelly loved Brendan’s song choice on a show that relies heavily on song choice. Riley reminded Brendan that his musical interests extend beyond country music. Brendan picked Team Riley.

ALSO MADE THE SHOW

Evan James, 22, Highland, Mich., “Wasted on You” by Morgan Wallen: Evan displayed a nice deep voice as the song opened. When he hit the chorus, all three coaches with open spots on their teams — Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green and Adam Levine — turned. Kelly liked the R&B flavor Evan added to the song and congratulated him on a great job. Riley liked the soul in his voice and said he found his groove near the end of the song. Adam urged Evan to be strategic and go to a team not loaded with country artists. He said Evan has the ability to stand out on his team. Evan opted to join Team Adam.

Lance Tenazas, 22, Mission Viejo, Calif., “Risk It All” by Bruno Mars: Lance has an interesting singer-songwriter approach to this song. It took a while, but Kelly Clarkson turned with conviction. Not long after that, Riley Green followed. Lance delivered a nice tender ending with a touch of falsetto, but couldn’t entice Adam to turn. Kelly said she loves the urgency in his voice and called his performance “killer and different.” Riley applauded Lance for making the song his own and having a very recognizable voice. Lance opted to join Team Kelly, completing her team.

Wade Turner, 18, Georgetown, Mass., “This Town” by Niall Horan: Wow, Wade showed off a really impressive tone from the opening note. He was about 40 seconds into the performance when Adam Levine and Riley Green turned simultaneously. At the time, they were the only coaches with spots remaining on their teams. Queen Latifah praised him for great control. Riley said everything about that was perfect and congratulated Wade for cranking it up at the end. Riley said he has no one on his team like Wade. Kelly Clarkson said he deserved a four-chair turn. Adam liked the way Wade drew him into the performance. Wade decided to join Team Adam.

Brayden Howell, 19, Marshville, N.C., “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks: Brayden has a nice strong voice, but hit the stage when every team was full except for Riley’s. Turned out Brayden enticed Riley to turn with his first run-through of the song’s catchy chorus. That earned him the very last spot on Season 30. Queen Latifah said she would have turned for Brayden. Riley said Brayden’s voice made him feel like he was in a honky tonk.
