Last week, it was Scotty McCreery’s turn in the spotlight.

This week, it’s Lauren Alaina’s turn to hit the publicity trail in support of her debut album, “Wildflower.”

The American Idol Season 10 runner-up’s CD hits stores and online retailers Tuesday, and there are special offers available if you pre-order it through Lauren Alaina’s website.

As for the publicty blitz, it begins Monday when GAC airs a half-hour program, “Introducing Lauren Alaina,” at 9 p.m.

Other upcoming appearances include Tuesday on Good Morning American (ABC, 7:30 a.m.), Thursday on “Live with Regis and Kelly” (ABC, 9 a.m.) and Friday, Oct. 21, on Ellen DeGeneres (CBS, 4 p.m.)

A day after the Ellen appearance, Lauren will perform at the Grand Ole Opry and appear on the show Opry Live, also on GAC at 8 p.m.

On Good Morning America, Lauren will be performing her new single, “Georgia Peaches,” co-written by country artist Mallary Hope.
