If you want a sneak peek — or a sneak listen — to some of the material on Brooke White’s new album, head to her Facebook page Thursday evening.

Brooke is performing live from the Village Recorder in Los Angeles, and her performance will be streamed live on her Facebook page beginning at 8 p.m. (5 p.m. PST).

And, yes, she’ll be performing songs from her new album, “High Hopes and Heartbreak,” according to a press release issued this afternoon. The album, her first since Idol, hits stores in two weeks.

Ten fans will get to watch the performance in person and ask questions of Brooke. In order to be eligible, fans are being encouraged to email questions to [email protected]. But unless you’re reading this in Los Angeles or are willing to travel there, that’s probably not an option.

What is an option is participating in an online contest through Brooke’s Web site. Anyone who buys a Backstage Pass before 5 p.m. Thursday will be eligible to win a signed copy of Brooke’s new single, “Radio, Radio” as well as a new Flip Video Camcorder.

The Web site now also features a song list for the CD.

You can listen to a snippet of “Radio, Radio,” plus all of “Hold Up My Heart” (the first single off the album) and several older tunes through Brooke’s MySpace page.
