We might still be waiting for Bucky Covington’s second album.
But no one can accuse the season five American Idol contestant of not feeding fans a constant diet of singles.
The latest is being released to country radio today (March 1). It’s called “A Father’s Love,” and you can head to People.com to hear it now. Just follow this link.
Here’s what Bucky had to say about the song in a press release issued on his Web site.
“We were basically done with the new CD when this song came across the desk … the minute I heard it I knew that I had to cut it. It reminds me of my dad when I was growing up and I think many people will relate to it too.”
That makes three singles Bucky has release off his upcoming album, “I’m Alright.” The others were “I Want My Life Back” and a cover of Nickelback’s “Gotta Be Somebody.”
As for the album, it was supposed to be released last September. Then the date was pushed back to November. Today’s press release indicates the fall of this year.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
Of course, Bucky visited the York Fair country stage in September and put on a wonderful show. Go here for photos from that concert, here for the Idol Chatter interview with Bucky.
