Carrie reaches the top spot again with ‘Good Girl’

Carrie Underwood did it again.

When the Billboard country singles chart came out this week, there was “Good Girl” sitting at the top.

It’s the 11th number one country single for Idol’s Season 4 winner.

It marks the 14th straight single that she’s released that peaked at either number one or number two on the country singles chart.

The only three that fell short of number one — “Don’t Forget About Me” (her second off her debut album), “I Told You So” and “Mama’s Song.”

Anyway, it’s one heck of a track record and doesn’t even include her number one duet of “Remind Me” with Brad Paisley.

Carrie, of course, is also fresh off winning Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards Wednesday night for her “Good Girl” video.

And her fourth album, “Blown Away,” remains number one on the country albums chart, where it’s been every week since its release. “Blown Away” drops from number three to six on the Billboard 200 this week.

* Three weeks after its release, Adam Lambert’s “Trespassing” is number 24 on the Billboard 200. That’s higher than the new album from Season 8 winner Kris Allen debuted.

* Speaking of Kris, “Thank You Camelia” tumbled all the way from 26 to 105 in week two. Haley Reinhart’s “Listen Up!” debuted higher (17) and slipped less (51).

* Phillip Phillips’ Idol coronation song, “Home,” dropped from number 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 to number 41.
