Lots of news from Carly Smithson and We Are the Fallen.
First off, the band has a new Web site where you can track what they’re up to. Here’s the link.
Second, the band plans to release its first single, “Bury Me Alive,” on Feb. 2. That’s when the song will be available for download.
Those of us who acted quickly when the band formed might have already done so. It was available as a free download for a while.
Third, the band is still planning on releasing its debut album this spring.
And, finally, the band is heading out on tour, and their first two stops will be in Philly and Baltimore.
We Are the Fallen, which includes Carly and three former members of Evanescence, will be opening for HIM — “Finish hard-rock heroes,” according to the press release — on a 28-show tour running from late March through early May.
Stop number one is March 26 at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philly. I haven’t seen any ticket info on that show yet, but keep checking here.
Stop number two is the next night at Sonar in Baltimore. Tickets are $26 in advance and go on sale Jan. 22.
Carly, of course, finished sixth on that incredibly talented season seven of American Idol.
