Cassadee Pope and Tate Stevens will return to the stage Monday night, on competing stations of course.

Both will perform on New Year’s Eve specials.

The other primary live performer is the Grammy-award winning group, Train. The show will also look back at the best in music in 2012 and feature Voice mentors Cee Lo Green, Adam Levin, Blake Shelton and Christina Augilera talking about their New Year parties.

Tate, on the other hand, was a last-minute replacement over at FOX, which had scheduled an appearance by Idol’s Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips.

Instead, we get the 37-year-old former road worker who’s now $5 million richer and bearing The X Factor banner.

Other performers over on FOX will include Lifehouse and Carmen Electra. The show runs from 11 to 12:30 p.m.

Both Cassadee and Tate, though, might have a bit of trouble luring viewers from Ryan Seacrest’s star-studded “Dick Clark’s New York’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013.”

Over on ABC, the New Year’s celebration kicks off at 8 p.m. with a two-hour look back at the life of Dick Clark, hosted by Fergie and Jenny McCarthy.

Then comes the music, courtesy of Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, Flo Rida, Jason Alden, Justin Bieber, Psy and many others. But nary an American Idol in sight.

What’s up with that, Ryan?

Seacest will handle the hosting duties, Fergie will oversee the West Coast performances and Jenny will be interviewing folks greeting the New Year’s on Times Square. The New Year’s Eve telecast runs from 10 to 11 p.m., then from 11:30 p.m. to 2:12 a.m.
