Idol Chatter & Voice Views

Megan Joy posted her first post-Idol songs on her MySpace page. As of 11 p.m. last night, two songs were up, “Incomplete” and “Feel Love.”

In a Twitter Tweet, Megan indicated she wrote the lyrics to “Feel Love.” No word on who wrote “Incomplete.”

Of the two, that’s my favorite. Megan sounds very good on it, certainly better than she sounded performing on the finals on Idol.

Megan also sent out this Tweet: “I don’t care if people don’t like my songs … of course, people won’t like them. But, guess what … some really important people DO.”

Megan, of course, finished ninth on season eight of Idol.

I think we’ll just call Katharine McPhee queen of singles.

She’s already released three singles off her as-of-yet unreleased sophomore album, “Unbroken.”

Now she’s released a version of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” The song is available on iTunes. You can listen to it first on Kat’s MySpace page.

You can also pre-order “Unbroken” there. The album is due out Jan. 5.

Katharine performed one of the songs off her album, “Had It All,” during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. If you missed it, go here for the video of that performance.
