Here are two bits of Jessica Sanchez news we’ve been anxiously awaiting.
The debut album — “Me, You and the Music” — will be out on April 30.
And that’s just before Jessica will appear on a pair of episodes of Glee.
Jessica will play the role of a singer from a rival high school on the hit FOX show on May 2 and May 9, the network announced today.
The latter happens to be the show’s season finale.
Jessica showed up on the American Idol stage Thursday night to perform her new single, “Tonight,” with Ne-Yo.
In a very nice pre-performance segment, Jessica talked about how her life has changed since finishing second on Season 11.
Seems that in addition to recording an album, making a music video and doing some acting, she’s also been doing a fair amount of modeling.
She also flashed some new dance moves on the Idol stage.
Love the fact that her lead single is a current-sounding dance/club song rather than the diva numbers she was known for on the show.
Pre-orders for “Me, You and the Music” began Thursday.
