If you’re going to be in Philly or Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, you can catch the premiere of American Idol Season 13 one day early.
If not, you can still listen in to what the judges have to say about the new season.
Idol is offering fans in 20 cities an opportunity to see the first episode one night early.
The nearest spots are:
AMC Plymouth 12 movie theater, 494 Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting (near Philly);
AMC Hoffman Center 22 movie theater, 206 Swamp Fox Rd., Alexandria, Va. (near D.C).
East Coast showings are also planned for Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, New York, Orlando and Tampa.
For a complete list of venues, head here.
At each East Coast venue, doors open at 6 p.m., the show will start at 7 p.m. and a live Q&A with the judges (via satellite) will begin at 8:30 p.m.
Seating is free and first come, first served; fans are asked to RSVP at www.idolrsvp.com.
Even if you can’t attend in person, you can watch the Q&A. It will be available via a live stream on www.americanidol.com and www.livestream.com.
And you can pose questions now on Twitter and Facebook using #AskIdol.
Idol returns to TV Wednesday and Thursday, with two-hour audition episodes each night. The fun starts at 8 p.m. on FOX, and I’ll be live blogging throughout.
