Jeremy Rosado will go down as one of American Idol’s all-time good guys.

In fact, his likeability and positive attitude helped him earn a wild card spot into the finals back in Season 11.

Now Jeremy is supporting a good cause with a new single.

Last week, Jeremy released “Hope for Tomorrow.” Proceeds will support disaster recovery efforts in the Philippines, where residents are still struggling from the effects of a typhoon that hit last fall.

“I hope this song will inspire people, especially my fans in the Philippines, to never give up no matter what challenges life throws at you,” the 21-year-old says in a press release announcing the release of the single.

Rosado says the song is his way of giving back to Filipino fans who sent him thousands of messages of support during his time on Idol; Rosado finished 13th back in Season 11.

And more music is coming.

A Christian artist, Jeremy has signed with AIC Records and is working on an album called “No Ordinary Moments.”

His website mentions a spring 2014 release.

According to the website, “No Ordinary Moments” will be “upbeat and provide the positive message to help us stay strong in seeking God’s plan for us.”

Prior to the new single, Jeremy had released one post-Idol song — “Don’t Be Afraid” — which is also available on iTunes.
