Carrie Underwood’s country music roots might keep her out of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

But she was among the artists on hand Thursday night as part of a salute to 2014 inductee Linda Ronstadt.

Ronstadt couldn’t make it to the induction ceremony. The Associated Press reports that she has Parkinson’s Disease and doesn’t travel much.

So Glenn Frey, who once played in her backup band, delivered the induction speech.

And Carrie, Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks were on hand to sing some of her greatest hits.

In fact, Carrie opened the set with a solo performance of “Different Drum,” Ronstadt’s first hit with the Stone Poneys.
