The teen who wrote one of the most storybook seasons on The Voice yet will return to the show’s stage Tuesday night.
And Jacquie Lee will arrive with a solid new single, “Broken Ones,” which hit iTunes Tuesday.
Jacquie Lee, runner-up on Season 5 of The Voice, releases her debut single this week.
Yet she held her own against far more experienced contestants, delivering powerhouse vocals and emotional performances that belied her youth.
She wound up scoring a string of iTunes hits with her Voice cover songs and finished second to Tessanne Chin.
As for the new single, fans are pretty excited.
On Monday, Jacquie Lee had to encourage one to calm down after a tweet that read “I literally punched a hole in my wall bc I’m so hyped about Jacquie’s single Broken Ones.”
And the song has already been posted on YouTube (listen below), where it’s getting rave reviews.
“Holy crap, this song is actually amazing.. and those vocals are killer!” writes one fan.
Of course, Jacquie Lee is also preparing for the upcoming Voice tour along with Tessanne, Will Champlin and the top three finishers from Season 6.
That tour kicks off June 21 in San Antonio, Texas. You can check out all the dates here.
As for the local dates, the tour will stop in Hershey on Wednesday, July 2, and in Baltimore on Tuesday, July 8. Tickets for the Hershey Theatre show will also be available here and cost $45 and $65, plus tax and fees.
