Carrie, Blake, Keith make CMT Video of Year cut

0

The CMT Music Awards are tonight and the field of potential winners of Video of the Year were narrowed from 12 to six this morning.

The good news for singing show fans: Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban are still in the running for the night’s biggest honor.

Carrie’s “See You Again” and Blake’s “Boys Round Here” both made the cut. Keith’s nomination is for his “Highway Don’t Care” collaboration with Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw.

Among the videos not making the cut: Taylor’s “Red,” Eric Church’s “Give Me Back My Hometown” and Kacy Musgraves’ “Follow Your Arrow.”

I’m embedding the six nominated videos below. Watch Blake’s closely and you’ll see a cameo by RaeLynn, who made the top 16 for him on Season 2 of The Voice.

Speaking of The Voice, Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope is also up for a couple of awards tonight. For all the singing show star nominations, head here.
