Miranda won for album of the year for “Platinum,” song of the year for “Automatic” and female vocalist of the year. Song of the year is a songwriters award. Miranda wrote the tune with former Voice contestant Nicolle Galyon and Natalie Hemby.

Carrie Underwood was nominated in three categories, female vocalist of the year, video of the year and vocal event of the year. The latter two nominations were for her performances with Miranda Lambert on the song “Something Bad.”

Dierks Bentley took video of the year honors for “Drunk on a Plane.” Vocal event of the year honors went to Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan for their performance of “This is How We Roll.”

Florida Georgia Line, predictably, also kept former Voice contestants The Swon Brothers out of the winners circle when they took the honor for vocal duo of the year.

Male vocalist of the year honors went to Jason Aldean. Blake Shelton was nominated in that category.
