Jennifer Hudson supports marriage equality in new video

0
Hudson is supporting marriage equality through a video released last week.

The video is for her song “I Still Love You” from the “JHud” album she released back in September.

In the video, a young man has invited his father to his wedding.

But it isn’t until the last minute that the father decides to attend his gay son’s wedding.

“I just think the concept was just powerful to go with such a positive song,” Jennifer told MTV in an interview you can read here. “It’s about love and everyone should have love and have the right to love who they want to love. So I thought it would be powerful to take a concept like trying to find your equality in love no matter who you love.”

Jennifer released the video in conjunction with Turn It Up for Change, W Hotel’s marriage equality campaign.
