The Voice has announced its Season 9 coaches lineup, and it will be identical to last fall.
Gwen Stefani will return for her second season on the show, joining Pharrell, who will be coaching for his third straight season and show originals Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
Pharrell, of course, is coming off his first Voice title after Sawyer Fredericks took the Season 8 crown.
Gwen will be attempting to became the first female judge to coach a singer to victory.
She failed to place a singer in the Season 7 finals; her singer with the best finish was Taylor John Williams in fifth place.
That said, one could argue her makeover of Craig Wayne Boyd helped him win the Season 7 crown.
For those who keep track of such things, Blake has coached four singers to victory, Adam two and Usher had Josh Kaufman win back in Season 6.
No word yet on when Season 9 will launch.
