DomoThe young woman who provided one of the saucier song and dance auditions we’ve seen on The Voice to date has released a new single.

So you shouldn’t be surprised to learn it’s a song perfect for a club.

Domo’s new song is called “I’m Doin’ Me” and the gal from the Bronx described it as “a fun summer record” in a radio interview last week.

“The song isn’t just about relationships,” she told LMP Radio. “It’s about doing you period. If you have stress and you have people annoying you and you have things that are holding you back and you just feel like you’re stuck, just do you, be yourself.”

The single comes on the heels of Domo’s first album, “Domonation,” released in September. It features a trio of catchy dance tunes — the title track, “Beastin'” and “Worldwide.”

What’s next?

Domo says she’s planning a college tour that will start soon. Also coming soon will be the video for the new single.

And there might be cause for Domo fans to celebrate. She told the radio station she’s planning a “signing party,” but couldn’t divulge the details.

Domo earned a spot on Team Cee Lo on Season 3 of The Voice when she auditioned with “Don’t Cha.” She advanced to the battle round before being eliminated.

The R&B/pop singer is also a dancer, having performed with Rhythm City on America’s Best Dance Crew back in 2009; Rhythm City placed fourth in that competition.

You can follow her at @DomozWorld on Twitter and through her website. And you can head here to hear the new single (explicit lyric warning). The song was released last week, but just hit iTunes.
