The new song is called “Heartbeat,” and you can check it out at right.
Like the lead single “Smoke Break,” “Heartbeat” is available on iTunes. Both songs are available as instant downloads for anyone pre-ordering the album there.
And Carrie will continue to roll out new music, bit by bit, until the Oct. 23 release of the new album.
Next Friday, she’ll release “Renegade Runaway;” on Oct. 19, she’ll drop “What I Never Knew I Always Wanted.”
“Smoke Break,” meanwhile, is doing what most Carrie Underwood singles do, landing near the top of the county music charts.
This week the song is number eight on Billboard’s hot county singles chart, number nine on the country airplay chart and number four on the county digital songs chart.
