Based on iTunes results, The Voice Season 9 title is a two-singer battle between Jordan Smith and Emily Ann.
Two hours after Monday’s performance finale ended, they occupied five of the top six spots on the iTunes Top 200 singles chart.
All three of Jordan’s songs were already in bonus points territory — meaning the Top 10 — and he was sitting at number one again with “Mary Did You Know.”
Emily Ann had two of her three performances from Monday in the Top 10, including “Burning House” at number two. The song lagging behind — her cover of “Blue Christmas.”
When voting ended at noon Monday, that’s how they finished, with Jordan occupying three of the Top 5 spots on iTunes and hitting number one for the third time.
More impressive, perhaps, seven songs Jordan previously performed on The Voice reappeared on the Top 200. Emily Ann had the same happen, but most of hers landed below Jordan’s.
All in all, it was quite a day on iTunes for the Top 4. Every contestant had at least one song in the Top 10. And every song from Monday’s show landed in the top 21 on the overall singles chart.
Here’s where all of Monday’s songs finished and which past songs reappeared on the Top 200.
