Wednesday, Owen’s blind audition song was performing best on iTunes among the 12 featured on Tuesday’s show.
The 25-year-old New Yorker’s cover of Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” was sitting at number 131 on iTunes overall singles chart as of 5 p.m.
None of the other songs from Tuesday had cracked that chart, though Ryan Quinn’s performance of “Can’t Find My Way Home” from Monday night was still there at number 138.
Owen’s cover song was also number three on the iTunes’ rock singles chart.
As of 5 p.m., seven other songs from Tuesday’s show were charting on iTunes’ genre charts as follows:
Matt Tedder, “Hoochie, Coochie Man” — #1 on the blues chart
Joe Maye, “I Put a Spell on You” — #22 on the R&B/soul chart
Justin Whisnant, “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey” — #70 on the county chart
Maya Smith, “Do Right Woman, Do Right Man” — #84 on the R&B/soul chart
Daniel Passino, “Marvin Gaye” — #117 on the pop chart
Jessica Crosbie, “Viva la Vida” — #122 on the pop chart
Tamar Davis, “Chain of Fools” — #178 on the R&B/soul chart.
