American Idol Season 15

A look back at Dalton Rapattoni’s performances on American Idol

0

When we met Dalton Rapattoni via this year’s American Idol auditions, he was introduced to us as a 19-year-old vocal coach from the School of Rock.

But he came to American Idol with more musical experience than that.

He was previously lead vocalist for an alternative rock band called Fly Away Hero that has three EPs on iTunes.

And he spent some time with a boy band called IM5. One of the creators of that band was Simon Fuller, the creator of American Idol.

Dalton auditioned by putting a singer-songwriter twist on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic “Phantom of the Opera.” Now he’s one of the last three contestants competing for the final American Idol crown.

Here’s a look back at Dalton’s performances since the finals began on Idol, and the Idol Chatter grades for each.
